A Surprise From The Orient? An Automatic Watch?

February 20th, 2010

Again, the kind folks at Orient have graced us with the offer to my readers for a free watch! Last time it was a speed run to see who would post the quickest. This time let me pick the witty comment of the run. Hey, an automatic watch for a smart comment! Who could beat it! My last reader that won the piece, stops in and really has enjoyed it. Here is a spread of some of the new
Orient pieces, check them out if you are looking for a reasonably priced Japanese watch with an automatic movement.
I actually love the new age marketing approach, hitting blogs etc. with there product and letting people in the states know the real size of their organization in Japan. There is always an option to get a nice timepiece in every price bracket, Orient is a great starter automatic!

isn’t it politically incorrect to say orient?

If this is the place for witty comments I think the prior to folks neglected to make theirs clever or facetious in any way. I don’t think I am able to either but I know my limitations and recognize it is time to exercise restraint.

I promised my husband I’d stick with him in good times and in bad. Please allow me to gift him this watch so that at least he’ll look spiffy regardless.

Definitely better to have an in-house movement than an inadvertent movement.

I have had to orient myself to the Orient in order to be oriented properly for this contest to win an Orient.

I’ve really been fighting off the urge to get an Orient. I love their in house movements, and I’m really liking how they’ve embraced new media with their advertising and marketing. If I could win this bad daddy, maybe that itch would be scratched and I could compare it to my other 7s26’s and ETA 2893-2’s. Not funny, huh

It’s 4am and my kid just woke me up and pooped all over me…. She’s feeling much better, but Dad could really use to get Oriented to a new watch!!!
