Tavannes “Ta-Von” watches have started to hit the watch market again? A blast from the past? Kinda, Tavannes is a re-release name, but owned by an outstanding gentlemen from Switzerland that had great interest in Cyma Watches for years. Take the watch guy’s word, some great things will be coming from this company soon! I had some sneak peaks at the product and all I can say is WAIT! Solid construction, and new inovative ideas will put them on the map again soon. Check their site for more details! TAVANNE CTWG

Chad, thanks for the article. In fact, we just lauched our new website with lots of exciting watches (a handpainted unique piece) that you can see here: http://www.tavanneswatches.com

Also, have a look at the history page where we have a flash-video of the Tavannes Watch Co history since 1891.
    http://www.tavanneswatches.com/index.php/tavannes-history-flash/

For those who own vintage Tavannes watches, we are collecting all possible information since the main factory burned down in 1940 and we’ve lost all archives.
You can upload pictures of your vintage watches and write about their history here:

Thanks a lot and Kind regards,
    Pierre
